Prototype concept, rapid foam gun barrel blocker. Foam type, a fast expanding, sticky, durable foam that solidifies quickly in the barrel, resistant to heat/slash pressure when the gun fires. Delivery mechanism, a small canister or cartridge device. Propelled, compressed gas or spring action to shoot a precise, foam plug into the barrel opening. Activation, triggered by an operator, or remotely via drone by law enforcement. Effect. Foam rapidly expands to fill barrel diameter. Hardens to block bullet passage without damaging the barrel. Essential design considerations. The foam must be safe to handle and non toxic. It must expand and set fast enough to block the barrel before firing. The hardened foam must withstand pressure to prevent bullet discharge or cause jamming safely. The device must be portable, aiming compatible, and reliable.
